Volleyball Recap: De Beque Takes a Loss + How To Watch

De Beque was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Soroco Rams. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

De Beque took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-19.

Soroco was led to victory by Ceci Gregory and Ellie Carolus. Gregory had 11 digs and three aces, while Carolus had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most aces Gregory has posted since back in September.

De Beque's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Soroco, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

De Beque has already played their next match (against Hayden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Soroco, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Basalt on the 25th.
