Soccer Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Kimball Knights, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 834th, while the Knights are ranked 377th).

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Kimball, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5-3 record this season.

Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kimball, they will square off against Conrad at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Kimball is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
