Baseball Recap: North Forney Find Success

North Forney hadn't done well against Forney recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Falcons' pitchers stepped up to hand the Jackrabbits a 3-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Jackrabbits on Monday, they had to take a 6-4 loss.

The victory got North Forney back to even at 3-3-1. As for Forney, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 13-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. North Forney will take on rival Tyler Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Forney is set to challenge their familiar foe Royse City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Jackrabbits 3.6, the Bulldogs 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
