Soccer Recap: Webster Groves Comes Up Short

Webster Groves was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chaminade Red Devils. While losing is never fun, Webster Groves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Chaminade are ranked tenth).

Webster Groves' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Chaminade, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-2.

Coming up, Webster Groves is taking a road trip to face off against Lindbergh at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chaminade, they will challenge St. Louis University at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
