Basketball Recap: Rocksprings' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Rocksprings extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Hunter Taylor. The Rocksprings Angoras breezed by the Nueces Canyon Panthers to the tune of 82-40 on Tuesday thanks in part to Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 17 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (three).

Another player making a difference was Roy Estrada, who went 5 of 8 en route to 15 points and seven rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.

Rocksprings' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Nueces Canyon, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Rocksprings will take on D'Hanis at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rocksprings has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 227 points over their last three matches. As for Nueces Canyon, they will face off against Leakey at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
