Baseball Recap: Walhalla Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Walhalla and Woodruff squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Walhalla had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wolverines, falling 8-1.

Walhalla has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season. As for Woodruff, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-7.

Walhalla has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 win against Union County on the 8th. As for Woodruff, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Southside Christian on the 8th.
