Volleyball Recap: Sabry Bray's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Nucla over Norwood + How To Watch

Nucla was the 3-0 winner over Norwood when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Mavericks on Thursday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Nucla started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-33, 25-19, 25-20, 27-25.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sabry Bray, who had 15 digs and one assist.

Nucla's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Norwood, they pushed their record up to 8-14 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Nucla nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
