Central Fellowship Christian Academy entered their tilt with Community Christian Academy on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Eagles 13-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on Thursday.

Barron Hamilton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, George Bassett was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Central Fellowship Christian Academy: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-16 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Carter Welch, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy's record is now 5-17. As for Community Christian Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Fellowship Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Westfield School at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.83 runs per game on average), something the Lancers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Community Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Byne Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
