Brea Olinda is a perfect 3-0 against Pacifica since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. On Tuesday, Brea Olinda was able to grind out a solid win over Troy, taking the game 57-49.

Brea Olinda's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Severson, who shot 47% from the field on his way to 17 points. Nick Chamberlain was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Pacifica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-34 heartbreaker at the hands of El Modena. The game marked the Mariners' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Brea Olinda's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11. As for Pacifica, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Brea Olinda didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Pacifica in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, but they still walked away with a 54-49 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Mariners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
