Baseball Recap: West Salem Comes Up Short

West Salem blew Arcadia out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Arcadia got their revenge. The Panthers fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-1. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

West Salem saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew McConkey, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

West Salem's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Arcadia, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Salem beat the Raiders by a score of 8-2 later that day.
