Glacier Peak extended their winning streak to 11 on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 11-2 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lake Stevens Vikings a 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-4 back in March.

As for Lake Stevens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

For Lake Stevens' part, the result came thanks to Charli Pugmire's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks. Pugmire has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lake Stevens saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was McKenna Richer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Looking ahead, Glacier Peak will welcome Kamiak at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Grizzlies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Lake Stevens, they will take on Mariner at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
