The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Silver Lake, falling 63-16. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wilcox-Hildreth has scored all season.
Sam Gruwell was Wilcox-Hildreth's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Wilcox-Hildreth's loss was their 16th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Silver Lake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilcox-Hildreth will take on Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Silver Lake, Silver Lake and Lawrence-Nelson will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lawrence-Nelson will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
