Baseball Recap: Marmaduke Comes Up Short

Marmaduke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 10-6 to the Bay Yellowjackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Greyhounds of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Marmaduke's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bay, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marmaduke will square off against Buffalo Island Central at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bay, they will face off against Riverside at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
