Basketball Recap: Aniguiin Comes Up Short

Aniguiin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 98-38 loss at the hands of the James C Isabell Aklaqs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 96-42 on Friday.

It was another big night for Ian Weyanna, who posted 54 points for James C Isabell. Weyanna's morning made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Ben Ongtowasruk was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Aniguiin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for James C Isabell, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Aniguiin will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brevig Mission on February 21st. Aniguiin is facing Brevig Mission at the right time seeing as Brevig Mission is stuck on a six-game losing streak. James C Isabell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
