Softball Recap: Medfield Comes Up Short

Medfield fell victim to Hopkinton and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 12-0 to the Hillers. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Medfield has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Hopkinton, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Medfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 win against Millis on the 19th. As for Hopkinton, they have also already played their next contest, an 18-6 victory against Dedham on the 19th.
