There's no place like home for Lone Star, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Creekview Mustangs on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won eight in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lone Star was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-13, 25-11.

Lyla Crowder paced Lone Star's offense, picking up eight kills. Crowder got some help from Katherine Hudson and her 14 assists. Crowder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Lone Star's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Creekview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lone Star will take on rival Reedy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Creekview is set to square off against their familiar foe Turner at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
