St. Anthony and Altamont are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2018, but not for long. The Bulldogs will take on the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, St. Anthony was able to grind out a solid victory over Cumberland, taking the game 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won four in a row.

St. Anthony easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Altamont earned a 2-0 victory over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on Tuesday.

Altamont not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19.

St. Anthony's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Altamont, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

St. Anthony was able to grind out a solid win over Altamont in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
