Soccer Recap: Dewey Takes a Loss

If Dewey was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Fashion Industries on Sunday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Dewey lost 10-1 to the Roosevelt Cougars on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dewey of the 10-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Dewey now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Roosevelt, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Dewey wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against John Jay on the 9th. As for Roosevelt, they will look to defend their home pitch on the 16th against Madison at 4:00 p.m.
