Basketball Recap: Silver Lake Beats Deshler for Their Second Straight Win

Deshler came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Silver Lake, but Makenna Karr wouldn't allow it. The Silver Lake Mustangs blew past the Deshler Dragons 44-18 on Friday thanks in part to Karr, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The victory made it two in a row for Silver Lake and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Deshler, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Silver Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-24 win against Axtell on the 10th. As for Deshler, they will face off against Sterling at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
