Springstead is 9-0-1 against Central since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will be home for the holidays to greet the Bears at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Springstead's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Pasco as they made off with a 4-0 victory. Considering Springstead have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Central and South Sumter, and Central kept the tradition alive. The Bears put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 5-0 win on Friday. It was an even better day for Emily Crosier as she scored three goals for her team.

Springstead has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those five matchups. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-5-2.

Everything went Springstead's way against Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as Springstead made off with a 10-0 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
