Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Joliet West). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-12 victory over the Joliet Central Steelmen. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while the Steelmen are ranked 435th).

The win made it two in a row for Joliet West and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points over those games. As for Joliet Central, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

As of now, neither Joliet West nor the Steelmen have any future games scheduled.
