Baseball Recap: Brookfield Central Comes Up Short

Brookfield Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Hamilton Chargers. The Lancers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Brookfield Central now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Hamilton, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chargers beat Brookfield Central by a score of 7-2 on Friday.
