Volleyball Game Preview: Stanton Blue Devils vs. Yulee Hornets

The Stanton Blue Devils will challenge the Yulee Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Stanton took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past ED White 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Commanders: they've now won four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-20, 25-6.

Meanwhile, Yulee posted their closest win since October 5, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out West Nassau 3-2.

Yulee took West Nassau into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-16, 25-15, 24-26, 15-7.

Yulee's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Stanton, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
