Volleyball Recap: Reimer Road Baptist Christian Comes Up Short

Reimer Road Baptist Christian lost against Varsity Opponent on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Golden Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Varsity Opponent. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-23, 24-26, 25-15, 25-22.

Kylee Prough paced Reimer Road Baptist Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Prough got some help from Annie Futrell and her 17 assists. Futrell also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Allie Capela, each putting up three.

Reimer Road Baptist Christian now has a losing record of 6-7.

Varsity Opponent didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Calvary Chapel Academy on the 25th. Hopefully Reimer Road Baptist Christian paid attention to Varsity Opponent's matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
