Volleyball Recap: Parker Takes a Loss

Parker was the 3-1 winner over ED White when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Braves fell 3-1 to the Commanders on Tuesday. While the Braves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Commanders 25-19 in the first set.

Parker started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-16, 28-26, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Lylian Curtis, who had ten digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Parker wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against KIPP Bold City on the 21st. As for ED White, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the 21st.
