Football Game Recap: Northwest vs. Southwest

Northwest were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They put a hurting on Southwest to the tune of 52-14. The success made it back-to-back wins for Northwest.

Northwest started the contest off right with 35 first-half points. Southwest wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 35-7 heading into the break. Northwest put the matchup away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The victory bumped their record up to 3-2. The defeat dropped Southwest's record to 2-4.

Northwest will take on Eastern Hills at home at 7:30 PM next week. These teams both are strolling into their game after big wins in their previous games. Southwest will be playing at home against Carter-Riverside at at 7:30 PM. Both of those teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Southwest and five for Carter-Riverside.
