Baseball Recap: Westchester Country Day Takes a Loss

Westchester Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly ten runs.

Westchester Country Day saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ricky Velez, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Westchester Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Westchester Country Day will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greensboro Day School at 4:30 p.m. on April 8. We've got a battle between Hawks coming up. Fairfax HomeSchool will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Forsyth Home Educators surely won't give up without a fight.
