 Rogers scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Friday. Everything went their way against the Hope Blue Wave as the Rogers Vikings made off with  a  16-3 victory. With that  win, Rogers brought their scoring average up to 7.6  runs per game.
 Rogers got a  massive  performance out of  Trenton Carter, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.  Cole Marley was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 On Hope's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Julio Minyety, who  went 1-for-2 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Rogers' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Hope, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
 Rogers will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Exeter-West Greenwich at 4:00  p.m. Exeter-West Greenwich is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.2  runs per game  this season. As for Hope, they will head out on the road to  take on  Classical at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
