Softball Recap: Roncalli Jets vs. Green Bay East Red Devils
After only one run in their last matchup, Roncalli made sure to put some runs up on the board against Green Bay East on Saturday. The Jets blew past the Red Devils 16-1. Considering the Jets' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Madison Lamers made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
