There's no place like home for Alamosa, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 46-26 margin over the Ignacio Bobcats on Friday. The Mean Moose have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Alamosa can attribute much of their success to Audrina Knorr, who went 7 of 11 on her way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Ortega, who posted six points and eight assists.

Despite the loss, Ignacio still got an impressive performance from Marissa Olguin, who earned 11 points. Veronica Brown also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Alamosa's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Ignacio, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Alamosa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-12 victory against Lamar on the 1st. Ignacio has also already played their next contest, a 41-20 loss against Monte Vista on the 1st.
