Basketball Recap: Richland Center Takes a Loss

Richland Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Prairie du Chien Blackhawks, falling 58-12. The match marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Richland Center's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Prairie du Chien, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Richland Center will take on Westby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prairie du Chien, they will face off against Oregon at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Oregon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Prairie du Chien likes a good challenge.
