Adding to the longest winning streak in Pequot - South this week, North Branford beat Old Saybrook-Westbrook 29-22. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Valley Regional/Old Lyme and Avon played the closest game in the league this week, with Valley Regional/Old Lyme eventually emerging with a 21-18 victory. Phil Cohen threw for 97 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.

Eddie Miller threw for 231 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 15-24 with 0 interceptions.

Jake Ward was a force in the backfield as Morgan topped Coginchaug Regional.

Miller put up the best numbers through the air as North Branford defeated the Rams. Miller's favorite target this week was Austin Calamita, who caught 5 passes for 70 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Mark Basil's team's Miller and Calamita have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-9 quarterback Miller has thrown for 612 yards this season, while Calamita has 15 catches for 343 yards. The Huskies' Ward leads the league in rushing yards with 991.

Ward has rushed for 991 yards on 100 carries so far this year.

A big matchup in Pequot - South this week will be when Hyde Leadership takes on Haddam-Killingworth. The Howling Wolves are currently in fourth, while the Cougars are in seventh.

Morgan took down the Blue Devils 62-35 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ward ran for 313 yards during the win.
