Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Glenbard West walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wheaton North Falcons on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Hilltoppers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Loss or not, Wheaton North got some senior leadership from Sophia Ohashi and Abby Lee. Ohashi had 12 assists and eight digs, while Lee had six digs and three assists.

Glenbard West's win bumped their record up to 28-9. As for Wheaton North, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 22-15.

Glenbard West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against St. Charles North on the 4th. Wheaton North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
