Baseball Recap: Dan River Takes a Loss

Dan River and Appomattox County squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Dan River had to settle for second. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Dan River's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Appomattox County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Dan River nor Appomattox County have any future games scheduled.
