Preview: Center Line Prep vs. Canton Preparatory Chargers
After two games on the road, Center Line Prep is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Canton Preparatory Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Center Line Prep has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Center Line Prep scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Taylor Prep 73-40 on the road. Center Line Prep might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matches by 22 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Canton Preparatory was beaten by Trillium Academy 81-49 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Canton Preparatory can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 315th, while Trillium Academy is ranked 76th).
Center Line Prep's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Canton Preparatory, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Center Line Prep won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, slipping by Canton Preparatory 37-36. Will Center Line Prep repeat their success, or does Canton Preparatory have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
