Softball Recap: Rubidoux Comes Up Short

Rubidoux was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 18-3 to the La Sierra Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 16-6 defeat on Monday.

Rubidoux saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Megan Pelaez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Rubidoux's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for La Sierra, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Rubidoux nor La Sierra have any future games scheduled.
