Fort Bend Kempner extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Natalie Zimmerman. The Cougars came out on top against the Tomas Gators by a score of 3-1 on Friday thanks in part to Zimmerman, who had 16 digs and six assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Fort Bend Kempner had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-18.

Fort Bend Kempner's victory bumped their record up to 14-19. As for Tomas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-31 record this season.

Fort Bend Kempner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Randle on the 21st. Tomas has also already played their next match (against Terry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
