Basketball Recap: Kelloggsville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lee back in December of 2024, Kelloggsville came back down to earth. The Kelloggsville Rockets were beaten by the Calvin Christian Squires 45-9 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Squires: they've now lost seven in a row.

Kelloggsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Calvin Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kelloggsville will square off against NorthPointe Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kelloggsville is facing NorthPointe Christian at the right time seeing as NorthPointe Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Calvin Christian, they will face off against Belding at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
