Fans got a thrill when Matt Hoberman and Anthony Bassolino connected against Parsippany. The longest such play in Northwest Jersey - Freedom this season, the connection resulted in 83 yards.
Lenape Valley was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to second in the league. Earlier in the week, the Patriots triumphed over Hackettstown 21-20.
Hanover Park's dynamic duo of Hoberman and Bassolino proved tough for the Redhawks to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Hoberman threw for 192 yards and Bassolino had 143 yards receiving. Nick Chaplin helped Hanover Park's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 23 yards.
The Hornets' dynamic duo of Hoberman and Bassolino proved to be unstoppable against Parsippany, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Hoberman put up the best numbers through the air as Hanover Park topped Philip McGuane's team.
Joe Puccetti was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 12 carries, he ran for 111 yards as the Tigers bested the Redhawks. Teammate Matt Milelli added to the ground attack by rushing for 88 yards.
Bassolino was the best receiver in Northwest Jersey - Freedom this week as the Hornets topped Parsippany.
