The Juarez Eagles lost against the Morgan Park Academy Warriors back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Juarez was dealt a 67-16 loss at the hands of Morgan Park Academy. Juarez has struggled against Morgan Park Academy recently, as their game on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Morgan Park Academy to victory were Anna Sheppard and Tiara Williams. Sheppard scored 24 points along with five steals, while Williams scored 29 points along with six assists. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least 25% of Morgan Park Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cecelia Drown, who scored four points along with seven assists and seven steals.
Juarez's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Morgan Park Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
