Chuckey-Doak strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 14-7 win over the West Greene Buffaloes. This was payback for the Black Knights, who suffered a 27-13 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kiptyn Ball threw for 141 yards and one touchdown. Dominique Atchison was his top target, picking up 68 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Brayden Greene rushed for 69 yards.

Chuckey-Doak's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for West Greene, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chuckey-Doak will face off against Unicoi County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Black Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for West Greene, they will challenge Providence Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
