Volleyball Recap: St. Croix Prep Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when St. Croix Prep took on Pine Island on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Croix Prep has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season. As for Pine Island, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

St. Croix Prep has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Totino-Grace on the 11th. As for Pine Island, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against West Lutheran on the 11th.
