Soccer Recap: Narbonne Gets the Win

On Friday, the Narbonne Gauchos narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cabrillo Jaguars 2-1. Given the Gauchos' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Jaguars are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Matsumato Zen and Jorge Lopez scored both of Narbonne's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.
