Basketball Recap: Jefferson Extends Road Winning Streak to 11

Jefferson won the last time they faced Broadwater and things went their way on Friday too. The Jefferson Panthers secured a 45-39 W over the Broadwater Bulldogs.

Jefferson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryian Eveland led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Toney, who went 6 of 12 en route to 21 points and four steals.

Jefferson pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Broadwater, their record is now 1-3.

Jefferson won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Manhattan Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5 points per game this season. As for Broadwater, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on White Sulphur Springs at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st.
