Baseball Recap: Tyler Comes Up Short

Tyler fell victim to Mt. Pleasant and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mt. Pleasant Tigers, falling 24-0. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Tyler's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Coincidentally, Tyler and Mt. Pleasant will both be playing Marshall the next time they take the field. Tyler will head out to face Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mt. Pleasant will host them at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st.
