Volleyball Recap: Fallbrook's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mission Vista, Fallbrook was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ramona Bulldogs. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Fallbrook never let Ramona on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-22.

Joshua Robertson paced Fallbrook's offense, picking up 12 kills. Robertson got some help from Gabriel Palacios and his 25 assists. Jason Fuentes controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Fallbrook's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Ramona, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Fallbrook will welcome Maranatha Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ramona, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fallbrook at 5:30 p.m. on April 2.
