Softball Recap: Eldorado Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Eldorado faced off against Reagan County on Monday. The Eldorado Eagles came up short against the Reagan County Owls, falling 13-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Saturday.

This is the second loss in a row for Eldorado and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Reagan County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Eldorado will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sonora at 5:30 p.m. on March 11th. As for Reagan County, they will face off against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Reagan County's pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so Non Varsity Tournament Opponent's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
