Mariah Boyer posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. She struck out five batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Boyer and Patrick Henry will head out on the road to face off against Delta at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Boyer's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Patriots' three-game streak of wins at home.
