Volleyball Recap: Jefferson RISE Charter Takes a Loss

Jefferson RISE Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the West St. John Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West St. John this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Jefferson RISE Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for West St. John, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.

Jefferson RISE Charter has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against South Plaquemines on the 9th. As for West St. John, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Crescent City Christian at 4:30 p.m.
