Basketball Game Preview: Boulder Panthers vs. Mountain Range Mustangs + How To Watch

Boulder is 8-2 against Mountain Range since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Boulder has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 8.

Boulder is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 57 points on Thursday, they were much more limited against Arvada West on Friday. They were beaten by the Wildcats 62-22. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mountain Range played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 73-43 defeat at the hands of Horizon. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Hawks are ranked 62nd).

Boulder's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Mountain Range, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Boulder came out on top in a nail-biter against Mountain Range in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, sneaking past 75-73. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
